2 bases in same hex 115, 89.

Post by melvi »

It looks like there is some kind on bug on map hex 115, 89. It looks like there are 2 bases in same hex, one staked with another in same hex?
Combat report says I have conquered Base Santa Eulalia del Campo hex 115, 89. But I am standing on an unconquered Base Ulldecona hex 115,89 (range 0). And the name in the base screen panel looks doubled too.

My game has Santa Eulalia del Campo but not the other base, it is not even in my list of bases. Which version are you using?

I've run into the same bug in hex 115.89, playing Nationalist side using v 54. The Republicans captured this location but then left it undefended. The map shows the base as Republican controlled, but the Hex information display looks more like a friendly base with the name screwed up. I can't retake the base.

The attached save is at the end of the last turn, when the LCU occupying the base was ordered to attack. This may have been fixed in v 54, since the changelog mentions "Fixed bases in same hex". If so, players that started a campaign in earlier versions may have to live with the problem

It was fixed in the last patch.

Yes, but only if you upgraded to v 54 before the bug reared its head in a campaign. If the bug struck while running an earlier version, upgrading to v 54 doesn't clear up the problem. It may not be that big of an issue unless it blocks the Calamocha-Teruel railway for the Nationalists.
