Re: Server issue

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Currently, I can load a PBEM game, see the replay, but as soon as the upload happens, I get the PBEM server down error and it bounces me out. I tried loading a second time, which worked but then tried a manual save upload and got the same error and bounce out.

Are the servers down for PBEM?

Re: Server issue and upload question

And back again after working on Fri night. The server communication error. It was working alright this morning. Made the mistake of going food shopping, and came back to do the rest of the turn and the auto upload happened. Then error occurred.

So while we are on subject of the upload, I can't tell you how frustrating that is. You really should have the option to do the auto upload or not. And if not possible, how about the option of how often you want it to occur. I know it had gotten adjusted, but it still comes up more than i care to count. Very annoying when you are in the middle of an attack, then then you lose your train of thought.

So with all these server errors, is there a way to play this game using just the hotseat? Since I trust my opponent, I am wondering if there is a way to do the game using the hotseat with password. Would I need to send particular files to him and what would they be?
