problem with surrendering conditions

Post by pdzun »

Hello

I'm playing with Turkey and receiving unconditional surrender from AI Austria, but receiving only 1 ceded province instead of 3 (C4 condition chosen + 3 provinces selected). Any thoughts ? is it a bug or am I doing something incorrectly ? I'm playng 1.26.04

Yeah, that's intended. In the game manual, 6.4.3 Political Restrictions on Peace, Restrictions on Territorial Losses, states that no AI-controlled Major Power may ever have its home nation reduced by more than one province for any single victor for each surrender. This is a minor concession to the AI to compensate for its weaknesses. The exception to this is the Polish provinces where more than one may be selected. Against human opponents, you can take three home provinces but then nobody else can take any more, max of three. Hope this helps!
