Republican units issues 165.53

Post by melvi »

On 5 august 1936 the unit 11360 Euskadi N2 Compañia de Zapadores appear in Bilbao with 11365 Euskadi N2 Batallon de Ametralladoras. While the Batallon de Ametalladoras belong to Euskadi N2 Columna de Milicia 11357 the Euskadi N2 Compañía de Zapadores is all alone by his own. I think the name , date appearing and his fellow Batallon de Ametralladoras appearing with him, besides the Euskadi N2 Columna de Milicia lacks sapper unit, point towards Euskadi N2 Compañia de Zapadores belonging to Euskadi N2 Columna de Milicia too. As it is it lacks the button to “change unit OOB” in his “unit organization” screen that could fix the issue.

The Navia Guarnicion 11247 still appears in Garandas base hex 67,55 instead in Navia base 69,52 as his name sugest. There is already a garrison unit in Garandas too.

The Sindicate de Transporte del Metro? Columna de Milicia is out of higher chain command and all alone in his OOB screen. I´ll add the LCU editor slot number when parent appears.

All the units that appears when an static guarnicion is beaten, guarnicion units without static devices, become all of them LCU slot number 0 and without TOE assigned. I think they had some kind of TOE before.

Small typo in the names of units 8001 and 8002 it should be ESpartaco and no EXpartaco.

I had already mentioned the Navia garrison but thank you for mentioning it again.

The garrison remnants do not have a TO&E, if you bring back the garrison then the garrison still has the TO&E but the garrison remnant has the devices. It still makes for a nice small infantry detachment for holding a base.

These TOE issues in the basques (and others) northen units and the typo errors are already fixed for the next patch (not the one on March 10th, the one after that). Beta and official patches are released more slowly than fixes. Sorry, I can't do anything to speed them up.

The Sindicate T.M. is the Sindicato de Trasporte Maritimo (Maritime Transport Union). It participated in the invasion of Mallorca and was the core of the Rojo and Negro Column.

The "0 slots" is a new issue... and weird.

I believe that the Sindicate T.M. units are withdrawn a fairly early and do not get a chance to be part of a division.

About the "0 slots". The developer says...

This is not an error. When a static unit is defeated into retreat, the soldiers run away. For example the support squads of a CD gun unit. The soldiers run, the immobile guns stay behind. Technically the split off unit is a fragment of the defeated parent. The mobile element of a unit do not stay for to see their death just because 1 device is immobile.
Everyone who can move will run away. Vehicles included.

Very small typo in the names of subunits of 7861 Extremadura N.2 Columna de Milicia. The 3 in the screenshot should be called Extrema. whatever or the shortened named you can give them following Extremadura word instead Extram.N.2. Something like Extrem.N.2 or Extrema.N.2, whatever fits in the name characters length limit.

Couple more smalll typos in the name of 6059 It should be Area de Jaen Base de Aviacion and 6056 Area de Ciudad Real Base de Aviacion.

Bah, it doesn´t matter. It is a very minor typo that won´t change the game at all. It is only for the shaken of precision. To get the game "polished". Those details can be done wayyyyy later while you fix other more important stuff.
