Icarus Mod as upgrade to Vanilla

I just tried the Icarus MOD and I'm really impressed. It's more detail and feels more realistic. Sadly my first match didn't go for long, but my first impression is like: hey, the game got an upgrade

I love the Icarus mod!
I prefer to lose most of my games in this mod lately, only playing vanilla when my opponent does not like mods.
Have you been using the Blue Max unit graphics,and if so, has it been causing any problems? Can it deal with heavy artillery and stormtroopers?

Hi! The Blue Max Mod seems to work fine! I didn't yet reach stoormtroppers and later game arty, but till now everything is fine. Only problem I found is problems with the german translation, which interferes with the mod, but other then that everything works fine!

Delighted to hear you love the mod! I did a quick check with the Blue Max counters. There is a separate Blue Max counter for heavy artillery, which is different from field artillery. However, in Blue Max stormtrooper corps looks like regular German infantry corps (which is odd because with I used the German colonial corps counters for stormtroopers, and they appear as different units in 3-D). Still, if you look at the name of the units, you can tell the stormtroopers apart from regular corps using Blue Max.

I was afraid to use the Blue Max counters, but if all I have to do is check for stormtrooper unit names, then I am happy.
