Question: When it's time to update.....

I currently have three versions of CMO on my computer.

1.) The last official version which was updated to 1728.2. This folder has all of my purchased DLCs.
2.) A copy of the official version which was updated to 1776. This folder also has all of my purchased DLCs.
3.) A completely new version that started out as 18XX, but has been updated to the current 1825.11 beta. This folder does not have any of my purchased DLCs, as it was a separate install.

So, when it comes time for the official release, which version (versions) should I update? I figure that it is better to ask now, before the release, than have to wait for an answer after the update is released.

If a comprehensive patch is released I think it is the same.

If you plan to delete the other two, just be sure to back up any scenario, save, mod,.. that you may have in one those folders.

IIRC, you'll have little choice. It'll update the directory where you originally installed CMO. That one will get the update. DLCs are registered to the computer through the registry and won't make a difference.

Thanks. The reason that I was asking is I ran into a situation the last time where my main program is located in the Program Files 86 directory, and I think that it was you who had suggested that it could be placed elsewhere, and that seems to be the case. By copying it, and placing it in a C:\CMO directory, things seem to work just fine. But, I wanted to make sure where the official update needed to be placed.
