PBEM game turn not getting through to my opponent

My opponent sees on his end that it is still my turn to play, yet I did play my turn and I see from my end that it is my opponents turn to play. The Challenge ID=506226. The turn number = 46 (Dec 30, 1940)

Because I am playing with the Matrix version and my opponent is playing with the Steam version, we cannot rule out whether the problem could be with Steam, so a support ticket was sent there too.

I really hope the turn, or worse, the game, is not lost somewhere in the cyber netherworld.

To the server support people, please help if you can.
