Scenario 006 Dec 8th 1941 Full Campaign

Post by Rising-Sun »

Can someone tell me what they did to this scenario? Cause i dont remember seeing this one. After reading the details about the scenario, didnt say much, just that Pearl has been hit and USA is at war with Japan.

Note: playing Japan here, solo. Just like to know what the different from scenario 001 and this one "006". Also noticed that Nagumo carriers are heading back toward Japan and the tankers, etc. So i checked the log, no ship sunk, just all blank like nothing did happen on the 7th.

I believe it just implements all the Dec. 7th losses for both sides and then starts fresh on Dec.8th. Everything is always blank until the first turn is run to populate the various reports.

When playing this scenario the differences are more apparent on the Allied side. The battleships Oklahoma and Arizona are burning at almost the max level and will sink shortly. The other BBs and cruisers , etc. have various levels of damage to reflect their historical drubbing. Pearl Harbor's facilities and airfields are damaged as well.

Ah i just noticed that too, i made a new game on that same scenario and joined the Allied side to see what have changed. The port and airfields are very, very low damage in PH though. Clark Field is badly damaged, not sure what else have happened.

Gonna go head and try out the scenario 006 full campaign as Japan (solo).

I believe the new Beta .1128 will not support all the scenarios - probably only Scenario 1 and 2 (check on the new Beta thread). If you intend to play that version it may be best to play Scenario 1 or 2 now and upgrade it to the new version when it is official.

Thanks, i looked at it and doesnt look like much to change my mind, so i decided to stay on course with this scenario. Breaking the rail lines in China really messed up my strategy though. I remember posting some details that needed to be addressed doesnt look like it has been added to the list few years ago.
