Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

How do I build Yamato ? Tried using ship designer, but Japan isnt allowed those size guns ( I even set year to 1944)

it saved anyway, even though 18 inch not allowed for Japan (?)

In the current version of the DLC Ship Designer, it is recommended that you ignore any errors when recreating historical ships and save your work.Now, designs that were saved despite errors can be used without any issues in the Scenario Editor.
This is mentioned on page 14 of the DLC manual.
