Feature request - Multiplayer Games - Game Status Review for the non-active player

Post by terry1040 »

While I generally appreciate the Multiplayer environment, I wonder about the possibility to review the game after I have submitted the next turn.

When you are playing vs. the AI or standard PBEM, after finally executing a turn a file called "axisPreLogistics" or "sovietPreLogistics" is generated.

This file represents the final moment of your own turn before it is handed over to your opponent.
It is password protected and offers the possibility to fully review / analyse your own scenario situation while waiting for your opponent to finish his turn. :!:

However, when playing MP Server Game/PBEM*++ these files are not available.

I think it would be a great advantage to allow the non-active player to review/analyse his own status of the game while waiting for the opponent to finish his next turn.

This also would allow for easier AAR stories, as there is enough time for additional Screenshots / Analysis.

All it would take is to locally save this file-type on the local computer as part of the turn execution.
Similar to what happens with the local log files.

Cheers

And that you can copy and paste text into the message field.

Because of the different languages spoken by the players – for example, using Google Translate.
