8/20/36: The Southwestern Theater
My gamble of sending capable troops from Granada to Cordoba is paying off. Around Cordoba, it's about 24 REP units to 5 NAT ones. And they are starting to fall back around Granada as well. NATs are clearly pulling from all over Portugal to reinforce Cordoba, but is it going to be enough?
8/22/36: The Northern Theater
Both parties commit all the available spare troops in Oviedo. NATs are pushing pretty hard in general, my only salvation for now is that REP sentry units can replenish and supply - and that has slowed other incoming NAT groups a lot.
8/22/36: The Eastern Theater
The Zaragosa offensive is slowing starting to take up shape. It's by no means a Blitzkrieg, but I need a viable path for my northern REP troops to escape when time comes.
Re: 8/22/36: The Eastern Theater
You don't have to give up the North. Capture as many bases as you can to deny the enemy supplies. Use small units to capture the undefended bases. If the Nationalists send units to recapture those bases, you win because of the lost supplies and the redirection of the enemy units. Then you can recapture the enemy bases again. When those Nationalist units are moving in the open, they are much more vulnerable to your air units. As long as you can keep destroying the enemy devices as fast or faster than they are replaced, you will be winning. When you destroy units, they come back at Burgos but with no experience. Those units then need supplies to rebuild and if you can cut off the overseas supplies to Burgoes, then those Nationalist units will be much less effective.Rysyonok wrote: Thu Mar 26, 2026 10:24 pm The Zaragosa offensive is slowing starting to take up shape. 8/24/36: The Central Theater
NATs are pushing in, and we are countering. It's an interesting time - pretty much all of my units are already on the frontlines, so maybe the enemy is stretched thin too?
Re: GC Republican AAR
Your static units may have retreated and are capable of movement. They can help defend other bases which have a garrison.
You air units need to bomb those units moving in the open. You don't necessarily need to CAP your airbases if you are not being bombed there, you can relocate your air units to the Madrid area where they have AA units to protect them as well.

Some static units are back in action including front lines. Those perma-frozen ones are in Madrid. I'm using them as expensive sandbags.RangerJoe wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 1:17 am Your static units may have retreated and are capable of movement. They can help defend other bases which have a garrison.

So far, my airforce has been quite bad at bombing. I will revisit the air groups to see what can be done.
Version upgrade
The game has been bumped up to 1.65.53.01 and then to 1.65.54.
Re: GC Republican AAR
It doesn't matter how bad they are at bombing, simply the fact that they are being bombed causes issues for the targeted units. But you might want to consider what the orders look like and change those orders.Rysyonok wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 9:44 pmSome static units are back in action including front lines. Fun fact: version upgrades empty out CR reportsRysyonok wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 9:47 pm The game has been bumped up to 1.65.53.01 and then to 1.65.54.
