Italy finds (4-1), but gets only 6 surprise points despite the surprise.

Due to surprise the AA fire is ignored, and all points used to increase damage done. The X goes on the CV, and the aborts ignored.

Italy decide to withdraw. Does France stay? (only affects CP. If aborting what port will the CP seek?)
Edit: I see that the Italian NAV is listed as staying...

Re: Empires in Flames (4-player game)
I thought it would abort. I think it should according to rules. Might be a bug. No idea how MWIF treats this until I try. I would rather not test, and have to go back if needed.
We could decide to treat the NAV as aborted even if it is not?

Re: Empires in Flames (4-player game)
The NAV was aborted.
Now there will be a break before rebases.

This fleet is in the 3-box. Is that correct? If not, carry on with our impulse as if it were in the 4-box?Majorball68 wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 3:20 am

Impulse #5 (Axis)
Germany declares war on Netherlands. How will they place their units?
Short of time now so no pictures. Will roll US entry later as well. Or you could send us a new save with the Dutch units placed.

Re: Empires in Flames (4-player game)
It's in the 4 box. I was trying to be clever and update the AAR as I went but it doesn't work well when you make a mistake so better to have everything done correctly before posting. It looks like I need to send the right save as well, I will roll and place Dutch with the the CW units in 4 box WM!Orm wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 8:55 amThis fleet is in the 3-box. Is that correct? Dutch setup done.
This save has the CW naval units in 4 box of WM where they should be.
