Early Termination

I thought that the game quitting before the allotted amount of turns had been fixed???
I am still using the 5.x and during the "freedom watch" camp, in the third battle just as I was about to capture all the hexes the game quit (turn 16 of 25) and gave me a DRAW result???? I can deal with the "game knowing all my setup" cheat, the deadly artillery with no spotter cheat, the planes from hell that won't die, etc etc etc but the quit before you win deal is alittle much LOL

DId you hold any V-hexes? What state was your army in. IF you have taken a beating and have not captured any V hexes the game wil still end early (ie your units morale has broken)

Had a similar problem using 6.1.

Had captured all V hexes on 16th turn out of 20 and it quit giving me a draw. In the rest of the turns I would have obliterated the enemy perhaps giving me a marginal win. The enemy was in a mess, I still had plenty of arty and air support, which was how I could take all the V hexes.

Does it normally quit when all V hexes are taken?

Yes. If one side has all the VHs and the other side's morale breaks, then the game ends. This is quite realistic, and simulates the enemy's forces disintegrating and fleeing the field.

I've also noticed that if the enemy is broken and I hold all EXCEPT one of the VHs, the game will end. I have not tested this with all except two VHs but I've run it several times (with different scenarios) and always had the game end with -1 VH.
