This shows that I've added all the commanders created for this scenario to the end of the Commander List. I've added all such commanders for my 21 updated scenarios and they've totaled up to 980 additional commanders on the list.

Here ars some samples of events added. A suite of events were needed to detach and attach commanders for historical commander changes. And another suite of events were necessary to effect all VP awards for commander losses. One set for Killed, Captured, and Wounded each. A total of 385 events were added.

Well, we seem to be holding steady at seven volunteers. I'll give a couple more days to let any stragglers make it, then I will send the five new names to Matrix Friday evening. (Two of the volunteers - broccolini and Simon Edmonds - are already on the Development Team).

Good to hear, Jose. New total is 8 volunteers. But still only 5 to add to the DT.

OK, so we have 8 volunteers (5 non-DT members) and 3 declines. However, it occurs to me that there is no point in sending the 5 names to Matrix today, since they won't get to them till Monday. So, I'll wait till Monday to send them, leaving the weekend for any remaining stragglers.

I'm still there and have access to the test team FTP site. Available for testing duties.

Thanks, Marc. That makes 9 so far. So, you're already a team member, I gather? Sorry I missed that.

Reckon I've somehow kept my status from my time in the TOAW III test team, many moons ago. I can still access both the FTP site and the test team sub-forum.

After I mucked around with the events a while back they developed an issue with the "contingency" pane (contains the event to trigger on its activation). The pane no longer appeared if the event was pristine (had never been used). I had to pull up some old file saves to find what I mucked up, but, thankfully, that worked. This is item 33 on the bug list attached:

#18 Destruction of flag unit doesn't always eliminate the commander.

Historically that is true. If the commander was always eliminated there would have been no Konstantin Rokossovsky after July 1941.

#19 Sometimes manpower calculations are erroneous.

This is one that's also somewhat correct. If the Russians had destroyed as many tanks as they claimed in each battle then the Germans must have had a hundred thousand tanks at the beginning of the invasion in 1941.

I finally heard back from MaximKI. I'll text the five new guys the drill to gain access to the site directly.

I should add that maximKI has evidently created this TOAW Beta Test sign up site:

https://www.matrixgames.com/beta/the-op ... -of-war-iv

So, perhaps late comers can still opt in to the test via that link.
