First revealed at Slitherine Next, the Distant Worlds 2 roadmap sets the stage for an exciting year: Anniversary Update out now, Teekan & Haakonish refresh this autumn, Shadows Rising expansion in winter, and more in spring. A new DLC is already on the way.

I might have missed it, but is there a date for the update? teekan / hakonish? I am buying game is great!

Great question, I was wondering that myself. What is the planned date for the refresh? I honestly thought it was coming out in September?

They originally planned for sometime in November for the Teekan/Hakkonish refresh update. That may still be true, but we usually see Beta patches a month or two ahead of any update and there is no sign of a Beta at this point. Therefore, it looks like we're probably looking at the very end of Q4, assuming it doesn't get pushed into early 2026.

any news? if you are rdy with race changes and fixed all bugs i can finally start modding this game as how i love it. it is a really great fantastaic game, but i want play a real endless match
