Blue and Grey Campaign Game

Post by Massattack »

Recently acquired the Civil War game with the 2 excellent DLC's. Just wondering if I should start the full Blue and Grey campaign as vanilla, or plunge straight in and start with the Tanaka modded campaign? Any advice from players who have tried both. (This is against the AI). Thanks

I would always recommend starting out with the base game first before playing my mod. They are two very different games! When you have won the base game from both sides and are ready for a new challenge then move on to my mod for a fresh take!

Thank you Tanaka. In fact I started both campaigns, one vanilla, and one with your mod. I have discontinued the vanilla one, as your mod had a better "feel" to the gameplay, slower pace, more resilient units. Also the background music is easy background music, much better than vanilla and appropriate to the game, also the sound effects are a big improvement. (unless they are part of the unit mod by Gillesthib?). Great work on the mod.
