USSR demands the Finnish border lands.

Will Germany allow the claim? If not, could you send a new save with the Finnish units placed, and US entry rolled for?

I'm inclined to say no to you bullies however it's been a while since I have had to make this decision so I will need to review some of the fine print and implications.

Finland will not be bullied and will fight to the last man. The USSR declaration of war upsets the US.

Here I notice a supply bug. the Finnish INF NW of Leningrad should be OOS. This since it its rain and it is more than two hexes from a supply source, and the Soviet CA blocks the German CPs from delivering sea supply.

Cur from RAC: 2.4.2 Tracing supply
....
SiF option 11: (Limited overseas supply) you can only trace a supply path overseas if each sea area you
trace it through contains a friendly convoy, TRS or AMPH. [Clarification. The convoy, TRS, and AMPH cannot be
from an inactive major power, but they do not necessarily have to be from a country at war with the same countries
with which the units being supplied are at war. However, if there are any enemy blocking units (CV, SCS, or aircraft
with air-to-sea factors) in the sea area which are at war with the units being supplied, then the convoy, TRS, and
AMPH can not be used unless they too are at war with the blocking units

Interesting. Obviously I could have setup HQ differently to be in supply but doubt you will be attacking there either way.

According to this the Finnish units on the coast should not be in supply, is that correct? Would have been good to know before setting them up, I wasn't aware of this bug that shows them in supply.

It is correct that the Finnish units on the coast should be OOS.

However, I am doubtful that we can enforce that, so I suggest that we continue as MWIF is handling the supply. Then there would be no issue with the setup either. The Soviet campaign gets a bit tougher, and Germany can keep the Finnish units in supply a bit easier. Neither a major concern for me.

That will work. It seems an odd clause to have especially for the Finnish. With only a couple of cities it means their units would be OOS in the majority of their own country.

The clause can be used for multiple situations. Most common, I would think, is for Italy being at war with CW and the Italian fleet stopping supply being carried by French CPs for the CW.

Regarding Finland and supply. Finland has a HQ that can provide supply almost anywhere as long as the road is open. Also, Finland has their own CPs that can be used for their own supply.

xxxxxxxxxx

Anyway. Onwards, and forward, and so on regardless of this minor supply thingie. :)
