Question About Ship Graphics Scale For Devs

Post by tipsypo »

Dear developers, what scale are you using when designing the expanded battles stock ships and other graphics in the game?

I want to make some more historical British ships. I've got ship plans scanned from books. I can turn RTW transparent to trace the ships. I just need to know the scale that the games graphics are supposed to be. I've compiled a list with all the stock historical ships in the game with their in-game length and real o/a length to calculate an average scale (same thing for the equipment files that have named lengths in filenames). But hoping to get a more definitive/accurate answer for the scale from the horse's mouth.
