Multiplayer?

Post by RedwoodForest »

Does Tigers on the Hunt have PBEM? I didn't see it on the features page on the store but wanted to double-check. This looks like an excellent tactical game (my preferred "level") but PBEM is where I find these kinds of games shine most. Thank you.

Hi RedwoodForest,

Unfortunately no, there is no multi-player/PBEM functionality in TotH.

Long time ago, I though about multi-player support but then scrapped the idea. I just didn't have the time and experience to fully focus on implementing this feature properly.

EDIT: Also PBEM, would not work well in TotH because of the way opposing plays interact with each other in Movement and Defensive Fire segments. There is hot-seat multiplayer and there is an app someone can use to have 2 computers...

Cheers,

Peter

Screen sharing programs might be just what u are looking for. Such a method only allows live play but since there is no fog of war in both Tigers and ASL a screen sharing program like RustDesk, it is free, should do the trick.

A word to the wise do not share your screen unless you have total trust in the player connecting to your computer as they gain total control of your computer.

Any other questions please feel free to reply to this thread.
