Feudal militia automation

Post by Imotekh666 »

Dynastic Houses should be able to use their militia independently from the player such as enacting a law that increases their loyalty and or happiness at the cost of the player losing the ability to control the feudal militia. I think this would be great for players that want a little bit less micromanagement especially late game. The household militia would be able to patrol and attack nonaligned groups and help expand your territory. They could also help you attack enemy regimes if they are strong enough and happy. There could also be an event where loyal dynastic houses would come together to make a request to commence a large-scale offensive operation against a regime that you are at war with.

Oh and their aggression and ability to mobilize is affected by your logistics as well. Let me know what you think vic!

I'd go even further. I don't think militia should be under the control of the player most of the time. I think you should have to temporarily take control of them, federalize them, for a given number of turns. It's how the national guard works irl
