Supply Issue

Hi

I currently play as Nationalists against Q-ball and have problems with supply. I struggle to understand why i need to place a unit next to a stack engaged in combat for the stack to be supplied.

Right now when i move my units to enemy hex (dosen't matter if a base is present) occupied enemy units my units will not recive any supply and ammo as long as there is no friendly unit on the hex vacated by my units moving into opponent hex. I also experienced that when i played the Republic but since it has tone of small units it was not a problem...

Also i noticed a supply problem with 3 CD units in Africa guarding Gibraltar strait... those unit do not replenish ammo or supply so after they shoot off what they have the do not engage republican shipping. I was able to supply 2 units in hexes 72,144 and 73,144 by moving a different land unit to those hexes but despite moving a unit to hex 74,143 the CD unit there dosn't resupply...

Small update after few turns the only CD unit reciving supply and ammo is the one on hex 72,144 the other two do not recive either supply or ammo...

I am a little late in responding but you might want to add some captured logistical devices to the units so they can get their own supplies from a base or have some logistical units in a base to supply the units in the field. This is a excellent use for captured logistical devices. But also remember that the foot logistical devices such as the support squads, horse, mule and.or camel device of various types can haul supplies better in non-road/clear hexes than the wheeled logistical devices. So a mix of the devices in a logistical support unit at a base is a good idea.
