Wierd Forum Viewing

Post by Dereck »

It seems that if I'm NOT logged into my account I cannot see ANY posting after June 1st. This happens on both my desktops and my cell phone.

However, if I'm logged IN I see everything. Has something happened that can explain this?

Thanks

Since I'm always logged in, I don't notice anything. Send an email to customer support....GP

Same problem, might have been caused by MS edge browser update as my favourites folder images are now the same black and white globe icon. Also when I login the page size has shrunk.

I've been noticing the same thing. Unless logged in, the most active topics on the main board index show up as being dated from late May or early June. The time and date display in the upper right of the board seems to be stuck in the past as well. Maybe it's the Groundhog Day bug...

I use Firefox on my desktops and not sure what my cell phone uses but it's different so it's not browser-specific.

I had a very good and long-term friend pass away on June 1st so I haven't really been on until about yesterday but I don't remember it doing this before since I would read the forum on my phone in bed while I was reading and I'd be able to get answers to posts. So this must be recent.

OK.old guy here, I think I have found the glitch.

WitP/AE at the bottom of the page, second from left.
Display and sorting options

display select all topics
sort by select post time
direction select decending

click GO.
These options were the default settings but I had to go thro the above method.

Not sure what you're describing. Can you possibly include a screen shot?

Sorry, that was a false flag, I still have to sign in to view the latest posts only only on this WitP/AE section.
Furthermore the page size has shrunk

Matrix was down for a couple of days maybe a week ago or so. Just after June 3? I suspect they reinstalled phpBB (the package that powers the forums) and didn't configure it correctly.

OK, when I visit WitP/AE forum I only see old posts.
I scroll to the bottom of the page and to the right of NEW TOPICS / red text, I click the drop down menu, then select GO.
Then I see all the latests post, but in a reduced window size.

Maybe forum is struggling a bit, having soon(ish) 1 million posts and replys.

I am waiting to see that! 8-)

Yeah, it seems like the main forum index has reverted back to it's customary and up-to-date format as of today. Hopefully it'll stick.
