'The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is reportedly introducing an exciting new “low cost” video review system called Football Video Support (FVS) this season in the 1ª RFEF, Spain’s third tier. This simplified version of VAR allows coaches to request reviews on key referee decisions such as goals, penalties, direct red cards, and cases of mistaken identity.' It is interesting. It is good for leagues for high tempo. Premier league and its satellite leagues (Scandaniviva) could also use that.

Maybe Scandaniviva could use it, though I have no idea where that is. Also if you mean Scandinavia, I don't consider them satellite leagues. :)

What I mean was, say Swedish Football Federation will try to adapt what Premier league rule change in football or playing philosophy. Scandinavian players mostly adaptive they are physically strong and mentally good, it is difficult to generalize of course.

But outside 5 top leagues (4 perhaps) in Europe all others just satelite leagues. Their finance more important. They invent tournaments such as -2025 FIFA Club World Cup- Chelsea win tournament from UEFA Conference League against PSG. With a good prize money. They formed their elite league already.

As a fan of a team of the 1ª RFEF, I'll check this system. But I think the coach can only request two reviews in each half of the game.

Warspite1, I have zero interest in the topic du jour, but wish you the very best in all things.

I congratulate Irish team St Patrick's Athletic FC. It didn't come from Baron league but able score 2 goals abroad against Besiktas but still eliminated, that is fine. They've very limited budget. Even Besiktas trainer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have said they are promising team and wish all the best.

Samsunspor play well againt Panathinaikos, and Kazakh team go to Champions league first time. just wonder what this -J.Mourinho about this Portugese trainer-think about Benfica vs Fenerbahce match. This trainer have said "just pay" to Abronomich when in Chelsea. I think his next route to Porto (his assistant is current Porto president) his signals go as far as Portugese national team in pess conference.

The World Cup is upon us.

I've tried to feel some enthusiasm about it, but so far I have failed. That so many matches will be played in the middle of the night will not help.

Some interesting early results. USA looked excellent against Paraguay. Their clinical 4-1 victory made a tough group even tougher for Australia, with a star-studded Türkiye looking very strong also, but Australia defeated them 2-0 with a disciplined defensive effort, a best afield performance by the goalie and two excellent counterattacking goals.

I woke up 8 AM, watched only 2nd half of Australia match. I think for play -off teams they set the camp to Arizona in summer. Water breaks also make the games lose tempo. Low tempo so far. Paraguay match 5 or 6 AM.

I went up 4 AM to watch Swedens first game. Astoundingly good result. But I do miss those hours of lost sleep now. :D

I used to have the same issues some weekes for Formula 1 racing. But Apple swooped in and solved that problem for me. Now, I just don't watch.

I'm glad that a lot of Europeans are making videos showing that in the Southern USA we don't all have 3 heads and 7 legs. That we are mostly normal, very friendly, and we have lots of varied foods that almost everyone loves.
