PzK Mods for Desert War v.2.00

Hello,

Here is the version of the PzK Mod for Wego WWII Desert War compatible with version 2.00 from June 2026 for both the Matrix/Siltherine and STEAM versions. The vehicle sounds no longer match the mechanized units once the latest update available on the Matrix website or the Steam version has been installed (this is not caused by this mod—I’ll address it later; changes can be made via the editor). For the adaptation for the Salerno scenario, see below and follow the advice :

However, if you prefer the original colors of the game's counters (the colors only), install this mod with Jsgme AFTER installing the mod itself (provided above) :

Here is the add-on for the Salerno scenarios - Install it with Jsgme ONCE you have installed the Desert War-PzK v2.00 mods first and ONLY if you want to play the scenarios dedicated to SALERNO or SALERNO (Redux) :

You can find in the dowloaded Mods folder a desktop shortcut icon too (only made to boost my ego) :D


Changes in this Mods :

- Units Counters
- Color of Counters
- Refined some "vanilla" NATO counters that looking bad
- picUnits images in the infobar
- Small icons in extreme zoom out view
- Some cursors
- Some map icons effects
- Some units mouvements and fight sounds
- Replaces the original menu music
- Replaces the in-game music with a soft battlefield ambient sound track
- Color tonality of the maps
- New look start/options/battle/briefing/wait screens
- Lower click sound
