Can't restore (solo) game

Hello, I'm playing "solo" game with a friend. I give him control of my computer with "anyviewer", so we can play together without using netplay (we tried 4-5 years ago but had problems). It has worked nicely till last time.
Just inquired the auto save files, and it appears that after a HQ reorg phase, there is a weather that comes automatically (because no unit to reorg or no HQ avalaible). I cannot restore any following saves.
I have already edited some saves in the past (some unit in albany that crashed things long ago, or some build point "justice", with the agreement of my oponent) by editing directly the GAM file, but I'm a bit lost.
Does anybody know about this issue ?

We started this game in 2023, and played together about 90h... It's slow, but we have real life constraints

And yes, I still play on the update with started the game with... Did anyone tried to open old game with new release ?

I don't see anything wrong with this game....

What you can try is to unzip the file you put in here and see if the game proceeds correctly.

There's only one rule when reloading games. That is that the version you are using has to be at least the version in which the game was saved.

You could restore this game ? It still freezes on my computer when I try to restore...

This can happen sometimes if you've had a MWIF crash. With MWIF not running check task manager to see if you have a zombie MWIF.exe process running. If so, kill it and you should then be able to load your game file.

If this is beyond what you're comfortable with, then you can do a reboot/restart of your computer. If you elect this way make sure you save everything before doing the reboot.

Yes, that happened to me a couple of times. That could be.

If so, since I suppose your computer has been turned off (and on) since then, you should be able to load it now.

I am not a tester, but I would have tried to run it, but I have the latest version, 8.00...
