[NO REPRO] B1892 Exceptions in Top Gun, 1986

Post by Nikel »

I played several times this scenario with no exceptions in the log in the previous beta.

In B1892 several of them appear, this is the most frequent.

They also appear while running the benchmark, perhaps they are related with the slowdown? But Top Gun is a much simpler scenario and easy to investigate, I guess.

Sorry, I thought this was a well known scenario.

It is included in the CSP and played very fast, you just manage 1 AC, Maverick’s Tomcat :)

Update.

Playing Top gun scenario today 2 times and no errors.

The difference with respect to yesterday, is that I run the scenario after the benchmark, and the same exceptions happened.

Trying to reproduce it today, I see the exceptions in the log after the running the benchmark, but not after playing Top gun after the benchmark.

Is there any explanation for this? :?

Unable to recreate any of the exceptions on the current development build.

Thanks, they should happen running the benchmark in B1892, I can create a new thread if needed. Just tried the benchmark again and they are reproducible.

In Top Gun, they were "inherited", some way. I have seen this in another case.

There are xml errors when you load this scenario.

Then played Kharg Island scenario and the same errors appeared, blaming the Kharg island scenario.

Yes, please create new threads as necessary. I see multiple different cases already being conflated here.
