Is Seabee Alpha available anywhere?

Post by leftydad »

I'm trying to get WITP to work on Win11 widescreen. I can't get widescreen and I can't see the bottom of the screen so I have to use taskmaster to exit game (and start over trying to fix it).

Would Seabee get it to work? I used Seabee a number of years ago, past computers, and don't have it now. The link is dead.

I meant I have to use TASK MANAGER to exit the game.

It's Windows, so it should have an X at the top left of the window to close that app (the game). The game itself has a band at the top with buttons on the left and a few on the right. On the right is an X on a red button that will close the current session but not shut down the entire game. You can use this to reload a saved game or start a new one without exiting completely.
You should also be able to swap out of the game using [ALT]+Tab and then right click on the game icon and choose close window.

I played around with Seabee and also played around with the command line and got it to work pretty much on a widescreen monitor, a 4K TV.

It doesn't stretch to the whole screen, but it is a pretty good spread and I have access all the buttons.
