[FIXED - DB ERROR] Command Moder Operations LRDR Radar

Hello,

I tried to model a scenario like "a house of dynamite" to see if there may be another time to shoot two additional GBI. And another one with more fictional security to see if a luckily placed AEGIS destroyer can shoot down an ICBM during mid phase. I also positioned THAAD and partriot systems and jets etc. around Chicago to see if they could shoot down the load in terminal phase. I then used different rockets like Hawsong 18, DF-41, Bulava and start points like North Korea, a russian sub in the pacific, Heliongyang in China etc.

My main problem is that the LRDR in Alaska cannot make contact with ICBM, so I cannot shoot my GBIs because of invalid tracking date (imprecise target) until the momentum is gone. I thought it was a communications failure or maybe missing satellites, but I added them (satellites) and they still could not make contact. I can simulate the terminal phase pretty well, but no system except the SBX radar and the other anti-icbm radars like "clear" get a contact in mid phase. I personally think this is a bug, because the LRDR is designed to also search in space but maybe I am wrong. Please help.

The LRDR works in the last versions of the db v516 and v517.

So, this is a DB error in prior DB versions ?

The LRDR is able detect incoming ballistic missiles something that did not happen in older dbs. This is a test of a Hwasong-18 launched from NK in B1892 db v517.

What I do not know is whether it should detect them earlier (at a higher altitude) so that the GBI interceptors are more effective, but that's another story


The test is only the red launcher and missile, and the blue target, LRDR and a single GBI unit. In Mark352 scenario there were more sensors and interceptors.
