Changing from 2 day to 1 day turns

Post by Xargun »

I know in the past this was impossible, but recently someone reliable said that he was playing against someone who knew how to do it. Does anyone know for a fact if this is doable now? And if yes, how? Thanks

Just go to game options and switch the two back to one in the turn cycle display.

You should then see a confirmation of this in your game in the Preferences menu in the Game Options section. You can also alter the number of days here too if you want. The changes works okay when playing against the AI. I don't know if it works in PBEM games. If it does work I imagine the Japan player would have to alter it first and then the Allied player second.

I'm doing good Pax. How have you been? I haven't done a forum AAR in a long time, but I do have a ton of Video AARs on my channel. Waiting on some project information at work before I jump back into the game. Hopefully I'll hear this week.

Yeah I'm mostly concerned with it working in PBeM.. Hate to spend 6 months of real time jumping through 42 and into 43 only to find out you can't change it.

The Japanese player needs to add -cd to the command line flags.

They will then be able to change the turn cycle (within the turn not from the main menu).
