Ukraine on Fire 2022 v10.0
This version has been extensively updated with Russian and Ukrainian order of battle and equipment databases.
In the realities of conflict, changes in equipment, deployment, and unit restructuring on both sides are numerous and occur rapidly over time.
In this scenario, all updates are current as of March 2026.
Many Ukrainian units existed only on paper, as decoys for Russian intelligence, and have been removed from previous versions, such as the 88th Mechanized Brigade, as reported by the Ukrainian website MilitaryLand.
I hope you enjoy it; any suggestions for improving the scenario are welcome.
I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Easter.

I think your scenario is incredible, but it seems that you are trying to model a moving target. Pun intended.
Was wondering if you’ve considered that in addition to the grand campaign, of modeling the conflict by individual years. We know that over the years there have been massive changes to OOBs, equipment, tactics, fortified positions, territory, counter offensives, naval forces, air support, allied/NATO support, long range strikes, North Korea and more. Hard to see how you can include all of these changes in one grand campaign. Since the war is well documented through 2025, maybe individual years would make good scenarios and you could showcase how warfare has evolved over time. The objectives and victory conditions would need to be revised each year to reflect the historical outcome.

Dear friend, thanks for your suggestions.
I was actually thinking about creating different scenarios divided into 1-2 campaign years.
I've already done this partially with the Kursk 2024 scenario, published in May 2025, although I haven't revised it since.
Try Kursk 2024 and let me know what you think.

Please, please, help an alter kocker here - how do I play one of these scenarios on this forum?? Yes, do feel free to laugh, but you wouldn't believe the tech I grew up with. I've downloaded this scenario, Ukraine 22, but when I click on the sce. file, even including 'open with' TOAW IV, nothing happens :(

I found I had asked this before, in 2023, and have solved the puzzle thanks to a reply then. Big shout out to Hellen_slith, and very grateful thanks for that. Inordinately pleased to have been guided to solution :D :D :D :D :D
