Indeed. I think if there had been such a devastating attack during the actual battle, it would be immortalized in all the history books. I think the "AIRSTRIKE" results are a tad OP when it comes to AFV losses. I love the congestion and structural damage effects.
It's hard to critique because it's all under the hood. I'm not sure if there are combat rounds or if it's just a one-off calculation. Combat rounds would hopefully take into effect the laws of diminishing returns (particularly for the number of aircraft attacking in the example below) where the enemy is alerted after the first pass (and aircraft losses rise) and the effect of the relatively small target area (one hex only) for that many aircraft (aircraft over stacking so to speak).
