The Axis were lucky and a factor got through, aborting the Sheffield. Third round search was a miss.

Three ground strikes which you can see in the picture. The one to the North is escorted by an Italian four-strength Falco. The other two can be countered by German six and five-strength fighters.

The Armée de l'Air rise to intercept all three. The Germans counter and a dogfight across Belgium ensues.

The second dogfight the French also won with a DX(fighter taken), while the Axis score a DC. Axis bomber aborts.

The third both score DA, so the bomber gets through.

The 111 h does very well against the well camouflaged defenders.

The French support the Northern attack. I could not land it in Paris due to stacking limitations.
