Looking forward to get some news about the Securan and Naxxilian factions. Hope DLC:s still are profitable enough to get more factions.

Updated through Slitherine Next. Primarily just clearing Command Update features and noting/linking the DLC release date. I was a little surprised to see so little discussion during the broadcast - they really just shared the trailer and then breezed right on by. So, we now have a DLC release date and some concrete feature coverage, which is good.

But no word on the deeper state of the road map. Ackdarians? Next faction DLC? Other developments? We'll just have to stay tuned. I suspect we'll get an updated road map shortly after Shadows Rising gets released/stabilized.

Securan: Next official Faction DLC (ETA post-Spring 2026) *Not officially teased; no recent mentions

Looking forward to this one, those are my 2 favorite factions, looking forward to more lore, story, gameplay for both.

Thanks Xmudder, and apologies if my statement wasn't clear. I wrote the OP, so I'm familiar with the latest known info that you quoted (you quoted me ). What I meant was that I was surprised to find no real discussion or interview of DW2 content during the broadcast, only the two trailers. I expected that Erik or Maxim might have had a bigger role in the broadcast, sharing some updated info about the roadmap, especially since the latest official word we have on things like new Faction DLCs is almost a year old and several months behind schedule.

I know they are hard at work on things and we'll learn more when there is more to learn. And I know we'll see all of those things eventually. I was simply commenting that it was a little disappointing to have so little DW2 coverage at the major event, and acknowledge that the latest info we have is both dated and behind schedule. I was hoping we might get a more substantial peek at the post-expansion flow. But no such luck.

As it stands, I'll keep the OP as up to date as possible, so when there is news, I'll bake it in. Cheers!

Currently, development is focused on getting Shadows Rising ready for release. The general plan of a faction DLC after Shadows Rising is still in effect as of now, but timing we will discuss when we are ready. We expect the Ackdarian update will come alongside this next faction DLC.

We're aiming to discuss the updated roadmap when we're confident we have something to share.
