Is there a WEAPON MODIFIER quick reference list?

Post by DWReese »

I enjoy looking at the detailed breakdowns of each of the engagements for the weapons in the Message Log.

I would like to know if there is a quick reference list that I could access which details the various standard modifiers for these engagements? What I am referring to is things like -30 percent against a sea skimmer, and/or -25 percent for target speed. Specifically, I'm looking for things like, what is the exact altitude that constitutes a sea skimmer, or what are target speed breakdown parameters?

I would think that someone could have possibly compiled a list that contained this data. If it exists, I could not find it.

Having a list would give the game player a chance to gauge the expected success of various weapons before firing them.

Thanks in advance.

That looks like a perfect job for the AI, feeding it with log files. Anyone? :)

Compiling a static or universal quick-reference list for weapon modifiers in CMO isn't practical, given the sheer number of dynamic and interconnected variables processed by the simulation engine in real time.
Fixed modifiers (such as sea-skimming altitude thresholds or target speed penalties) only hold true for very specific, isolated engagement profiles. In an actual scenario, the final P_k calculation is heavily dictated by continuous flight kinematics, aspect angles, terminal missile energy, dynamic RCS, and layered electronic warfare degradation (OECM/DECM, chaff, and flares).
