Spain Map

I would like to use the large map of CRUSADE IN EUROPE, made by Elessar2, could be used, after cut, for a "little" SPAIN MAP

I did get the mod and I did a test : after cutting of the large map, I obtained a "little" map of Spain, that would be interessant to build a Spanish civil war : this map is less than 100 x100 hex, and AI would do a good job with this size, to manage it's units.

It's not a project for yet, but perhaps in the futur...

The question is : would Elessar2 allows authorization to cut and to use this part of his map (just Spain) ? In my particular case, I always share my work and other modders may use my work like they want, but I did see on the forum that it's not the same for all works.

You need Elessar's permission, not Old Crow's.

Elessar is the creator of Crusade in Europe and its map. See the Crusade in Europe mid thread and send him a PM.

Please, read what I wrote : It seems it's precisely what I do here (and I also sent to him a MP ...

If I have not his authorization, I will just do that as private work, and nobody (except me) will have this. I understand that some modders want keep exclusivity of their work if they prefer, but I have to say it's not my conception of modding : all my own work is always 100% free, if someone would want take my napoleonic battle mod to build his own Napoleonic battle mod, he could do that without any restriction, and without to have to ask authorization, he just should say where he took the work, and I will be happy to play his mod if it is better than mine.
