DEVS : Need help re-activating a game that was auto-deleted for inactivity

Post by Neogodhobo »

Hello,

Per the title, wondering if it can be done to re-activate a game. It was left inactive for 3 months, we came back to it and now its deleted. Is there any way to re-activate ?

No. but if you are interested, I can get the game converted to a PBEM game if I can still download the last save file. There is no way to reactivate a game. If you are interested in pursuing the PBEM route, let me know the usernames of the players and I'll check to see if I can still access the last save.

I've downloaded your last save. We can't do anything till next week. When Pavel returns, I'll see if he can convert the save (I'm pretty sure he can do it, it's just a matter of finding time to get it done).

We haven't forgotten you, but Pavel has a lot going on since his return on Monday. Unfortunately his attempt a few months ago to create an auto-converter that I could run didn't work perfectly, so he has to invest some time to make the conversion. Not only is he working on several projects (and his full time job), but he's still dealing with a small flood in his house when he was away earlier in the month. I sent him a reminder note, but I can't promise anything re when he can do the conversion. We appreciate your patience.

Turns out Pavel already fixed the bug in the auto MP to PBEM converter, so I was able to run the switch using 1.04.22. You'll need to be using the 1.04.22 public beta to be able to load the save that is attached. Both players need to email me at 2by3@2by3games.com and/or PM me in order to get your passwords. Due to a recent bug report, both players should check their game option settings under Balance to check that the morale modifiers are as they were originally set.

2by3 a full service game developer. Clean the windshield? Check the oil? Very cool, Joel!
