I enjoy the new beta patch, but while playing Japan on scenario #003 grand campaign after Pearl was hit. Noticed a couple things that are not fixed. 1) Hatsushimo is misspell and should be Hatsushima (Hatsuharu Class DD) and also noticed that Commander Fuchida, Mitsuo never took part of Pearl Harbor raid and should be under Akagi-3 as torpedo commander.

I will continue playing the campaign vs. AI to see if anything else need to be check.

Those should be fixable in the editor. The coding is/was the big issue for me.

Well if i knew sooner i would have, but already did alot of progress setting up my first turn. Take time get things in orders, making notes, etc. Changing the commander (Fuchida) is no problem, but i dont think the rename of that vessel will change unless make a new game.

I think that someone knows how to change an existing game but I don't know how to do that.

I just noticed you can now aerial mine ports without existing industry. That is a good change.

All the editor is doing is altering the database and not the the game version. The problem is you cannot save over an official scenario slot. When you alter one you have to save it as new. Any further changes to this new scenario are saved over it. When you consequently reload a saved game that uses that scenario, game starts recognises these changes and gives you a chance to uses them during loading.

Now this is a pure guess. If you manually overwrite the official scenario with the new it might do the same thing??????????

Sunosaki had 12cm DP guns, the photo is even evidence. In game they have a naval gun.

I'm tempted to download and install Andrew Brown's four new scenarios.
Question 1: is it really necessary to install also his new "standard" map? Reading his web page it appears so, but I'd like a confirmation on this.
Question 2: to install the four scenarios, my hunch is to do so in the game's scenario folder. Once done, you open the game and they'll appear in the scenario list as 101, 102, 103 and 104. Correct?
Question 3: what do I have to do with the new standard map? Install it in the map folder? I believe there is one. But then, when I launch the game, how do I tell it which map to use, when I'm not playing 101...104, but Coral Sea, for instance, or old scenario 1?
Thanks for your help.

Take the existing maps and put them into a different folder properly named so you can switch maps whenever you want to do so.
