Anti-Air numbers

Post by Wiedrock »

An overview with AA/Flak figures, manual quotes are included (sometimes abbreviated).
If you find errors (there's not always all 100% clear on when things start/end) let me know.
The max altitude you have to always round up to be sure.

IIRC (not tested again) the TacB alt in the target hex is always 1k, even when flying below 5k to begin with.
The "less conventional AA fire" below 5k needs current game version testing.
The "more non-specialist" shooting at 1k causing more issues is questionable and needs current game version testing.

That diagram of AA looks incredibly useful.
Could I suggest it is added to the documentation directory and installed with the game.
or referenced in game docs.

I have seen something that pvo AA behaves differently in some conditions (attached to HQ and auto sent to combat, whether it is used in air or ground combat). if so is that well documented.

Even if you are cautious as to whether it is absolutely accurate it looks like a great resource.
