Question

Post by petrosian »

Is there any difference between the SC World at War ,and SC War in Europe, and SC War in the Pacific other than just being in one theater? I mean is it the same number of units, same map etc... Thanks in advance.

The maps for all three are different. SC War in Europe has a European map that stretches across the Atlantic to the US and Canada. SC War in the Pacific's map covers the Pacific from Asia to the North American West Coast. SC World at War basically has a global map. The unit types also vary from theater to theater. No kamikaze units in SC War in Europe for example. No ballistic V-2 missiles in SC War in the Pacific.

Thanks for answering. What i am really getting at is if the Europe part of World at War is the same as War in Europe. I know anything related to the Japanese is not there.

No. They're at different map scales and they don't both have all the same cities, towns, rivers, etc. Both the European and Pacific theaters are more cramped for space in World at War. They both also have a slightly different unit mix.
