Turn 21. Jan/Feb 1943. Allied #5. Western Front.

(1) Significant buildup of land, sea & amphibious forces in/around the UK.
(2) Liberation/invasion of France looks to be a go for Spring/Summer 1943.
(3) RAF/USAAF definitely need more tactical (& strategic) bombers.

Turn 21. Jan/Feb 1943. Allied #5. Asian Theater. Northern China.

(1) China is saved from USN/RN breaking supply to the IJN through the China Sea and by US/CW intervention directly into China & surrounding countries.

(2) Though, Mao's CCP armies are ravaged & the Nationalist are a long way from the fight!

Turn 21. Jan/Feb 1943. Allied #5. Asian Theater. Southern China. Formosa.

(1) US & CW DEFINITELY need more FTC in China.
(2) OOS USMC I corps liberates Kunming and it's red factory.
(3) This liberation caused Jp Chunking Wld to defect, move back to the force pool now on the side of the Nationalist and left Chunking (an objective city with red factory, destroyed blue factory & 2 RPs) wide open.
(4) However; because of supply or lack thereof, USMC I corps (which flips at the end of its move) is ordered back to US main positions in China.
(5) Would have been resupplied (i.e., reorg) but still out of supply at the end of the turn if it had moved towards Chunking.
(6) And would have been 4-hexes (1 fine or snow impulse) away from liberation of Chunkging.
(7) However; Nimitz wanted his USMC corps back towards him & in supply.
(8) The job of liberating Chunking will be up the Nationalist 2nd Cav div coming in as reinforcement in 2 turns.
(9) Though, could be a race to Chunking (e.g., with Chengtu warlord) if the IJN can resupply & maintain supply to China turn after next.
(10) 10th Mtn div moves from China into Hainan & frees up an FTC slot for USMC V corps, which liberates tin RP, which immediately flows to Nanning Red Factory.
(11) During naval move phase, Queens w/Mountbatten RTB to Wenchow from the Bay of Bengal, establish CW FTC in China.
(12) The Queens took 1 of the 3 CW FTC slots because if RTB to China too.
(13) RSA inf corps debarked to Wenchow.
(14) Mountbatten is assigned the liberation of Shanghai (objective city, major port, red factory & destroyed blue factory).
(15) US army 2nd mot div liberate Nanking, along with an intact blue factory, and move back down along the rail south.
(16) The objective is to open up a rail line to another liberated RP to get that factory working.
