Question about log of events

Does the logs create in the log folder include all information that one could potentially choose to display on the Message Log (via Options -> Message Log tab) or only what is so chosen by the player?
Reason I am asking is that I prefer not to see on the message log details about weapons damage (this should be a BDA exercise) but I would rather have this information and all other stored in the log to recreate AARs etc after the end of the scenario.

AFAIK in the log is printed what is ticked in the options, if not ticked not printed.

If you want it in the log, but not displayed, you may hide it this way, in this case the New Air Contacts.
