The battle to get through that town will be tough. Maybe the map will be split up for several parts of the battle.

The town in the dxC and dxD maps you posted in June a few months ago looks very built up. That will be very hard to fight through if it has defenders throughout it.

You're right. They are difficult maps, and infantry units need to advance "house by house"—you know how it is.

I like the fighting in those picturesque French buildings. They are so much more appealing than our boring modern buildings.
War adds the excitement to the pleasant hamlets and towns.

They really are very fun scenarios. This particular board features hexes with "narrow streets" that make "street fighting" even more challenging.

Sounds fun.
Small battles in small cute towns are a pleasant way to enjoy war. I liked your other Normandy battles with one side attacking into a small town, usually through some big trees on the edge, and then some fun combat to capture the houses.
