I am playing one NetPlay with another guy.

I have currently 4 games ongoing.
One game paused since > 1 year, it is my turn and I tried several times to start my impulse, but failed every single time. I feel very much guilty about having let slip the game flow, sorry Luis, if you read this. I promise, I will not abandon the game, but will continue. It is already in 1943 and will be the first game of Global War, which I will finish ...
One game is still in early 1940, again stalled by me.
Game #3 is active again since yesterday, after a 4-month break enforced by my opponent. We are in 41MA, no Vichy, Med under Axis control but Gib and Suez safe for Allies.
Game #4 started only last month, we are playing quite fast, but Ronnie is currently on vacation, so not only this game is pausing for a couple of days, but also his Solo game receives no updates.

Our netplay game is currently resting due to vacations and other shenanigans which got in the way since July. We will continue early October, after I return from the Oktoberfest.

It's my main wargame staple. Playing a global war now since a long time. We finished it last year with my victory as Axis and decided to replay it (starting at Barbarossa) changing sides to see if it was possible for the Allies to revert it (which I'm trying now).

I was playing against myself for a bit but put it down to try to digest War in Spain and Flashpoint Campaigns Cold War. I may return to it but I'm kind of waiting to see if the dev ever comes back to life and puts out another update. (Lord knows...)

For what it's worth it is arguably the coolest wargame I've ever played, but more modern games have spoiled me when it comes to AI and UI, to some extent.

What's New in v08.02.00.00

Peace
- Removed the request for whether a player wants to liberate a country that has already been liberated. This unfortunately occurred when Italy had already been liberated and the program lost track of that fact.

Supply
- Fixed a problem where the program was not checking for secondary supply sources from all cooperating major powers. This would occur at times when the US was looking for supply for its land units and Commonwealth HQs, which were viable supply sources, were not being found (the search was erroneously terminated early).

And, accidentally it seems, the super lag (supply check) when moving units has been "solved" it seems, maybe as a secondary result of the supply calculation Fix above.

For grins I tried with this latest version the file that Jose was having problems with a month or so ago. The one during allied RTB. Honestly, I didn't notice any improvement.

Looks like the game development has officially ended. The game is what it is from now to eternity. I bought this game and have never played a turn of it on the computer. It is my absolute favorite strat level WWII boardgame.
