Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #5. Western Front. Max Effort Strategic Bombing.

(2/4). Ge Oil RP 51,36.
(1) Even though RAF knocked out a Germany Oil, was a costly mission with the loss of a USAAF FTR-2 & PIL.
(2) These strategic bombing missions also serve as fighter sweeps; of which lately the axis have seemed to gotten the better over the allies.

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #5. Western Front. Max Effort Strategic Bombing.

(4/4). Taranto, Italy.
(1) Actually, this mission was on the Med and against Italy.
(2) However; this mission, which would have flown unopposed, was cancelled at the last moment.
(3) The reason was to instead reassign & rebase the RAF ATR from the Med to the Western Front.
(4) It's needed (hopefully) next turn or two to carry US/UK paratroopers in an invasion of France.

Germany Production. Pre & Post Strategic Bombing Raids.
(1) The allies knocked out 1 Oil & 1 PP, which can be valuated as 2 RP x 1.75 (Ge Px) = 3.5 BPs.
(2) However; the allies (specifically the US) lost 1 FTR-3, 1 FTR-2 & 1 PIL; which is valuated at 7 BPs.
(3) Though all 3 air-to-air battles were fought at even odds (i.e., 0 AX/0 AL).

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #5. Western Front.

Land Command.
(1) With the exception of a UK arm division, all allied land forces allocated to the follow up (failed) invasion of Kiel in the North Sea were debark back to the UK.

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #5. Med Theater.

Land Command.
(1) Western Allies are pulling out land forces to other theaters (mainly to the Western Front) as quickly as sea lift priority permits.
(2) Still, significant land strength remains.

(4) Except at sea and in the air over the seas, the Med has become a dominant theather.

Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied #5. Atlantic Theater.

RN NM x 1.
(1) 1 of 2 RN NM (CW combined) allocated to the Atlantic.

Lend Lease Verification.
(2) RN used that move to ensure all Western Allied Lease Lease BPs are sent (for now).
05-AL-LL-Verificiation.png
05-AL-LL-Verificiation.png (33.81 KiB) Viewed 28 times
RN (In Port).
(3) Given two CW combines, there's a significant RN strength still in port; which means Atlantic convoy escorts & patrols aren't fully set.
(4) Which means a higher vulnerability to the Germany U-boat & Italian Sub threat.
(5) However; priorities in Asia (China & Korea) have dictated this vulnerability (i.e., risk) because of Western & Asian actions needs (land for (failed Kiel invasion impulse 1 & land moves for China impulse 5).
