Hard option to continue playing after scenario ends

Instead of using the editor, I hereby request a feature that allows the player to continue playing a scenario past its designed conclusion. I have seen a prompt if I wish to end the game or continue, but I believe this is only triggered if I'm doing exceptionally well, and this was during a scenario I had edited to last longer. I'm trying to edit a particular scenario now but it keeps loading Battle Plan 1 by default and I want to use a different plan.

Edit: I figured out how to use other battle plans (as mentioned in another thread) but my hope and wish stands for the option to continue fighting after a scenario ends (and prompted after each subsequent turn).
