Amazing results.
Force Z no longer exists, POW can't survive 5 torps ...
I never knew about subs at Cebu ... but total carnage of the USN SS fleet in the Far East.
4 LZ's on Luzon! creative! wow!!

BANZAI!!!!

Correct - we are using John's Reluctant Admiral's Mod v8.1 (Newest version we could find). It moves some units and such around.

Well Rob has the turn and I am just waiting for him to plough through the Allied Turn 2 blues and get it back to me.

I also am not good at waiting, but good news is we are now on turn 4 - Rob currently has it. I will be posting results of turn 2 and 3 either today or tomorrow depending on my work load.

Turn 2: December 8th, 1941

Burma

No action here as troops are a longs way away. I am airlifting supplies and infantry into Lashio to secure it. The lack of AV support at the transports AF is hampering this ability.

Malaya

More troops and supplies pour ashore at our three invasion beaches.

TFs attacked:
Allied DD Tenedos shows up at Mersing to interrupt our landings. We exchange some night time gun fire and the enemy ship runs away. We landed 1 hit on it, while he landed 3 hits on our troop xAKs, sitting the Nako Maru on fire.

I-121 catches an allied xAKL fleeing Singers and sinks it with two torps in the Malacca Straight.
Dutch sub KXIII arrives at Mersing and attacks our invasion fleet scoring 2 torpedeo hits on the AK Hirokawa Maru sinking her. Luckily she already offloaded all troops.

Heavy Cruisers and DDs bombard Kota Bharu to support the attack there.
Allied ground losses:
555 casualties reported
Squads: 0 destroyed, 9 disabled
Non Combat: 25 destroyed, 25 disabled
Engineers: 0 destroyed, 1 disabled
Guns lost 8 (5 destroyed, 3 disabled)

Airbase hits 16
Airbase supply hits 4
Runway hits 55
Port hits 26
Port supply hits 4

CV Group 1 attacked by multiple waves of aircraft off the coast of Malaya. Our Zeros seemed to be stationed to high and were able to intercept and kill only a few of the enemy aircraft.

Our CAP over our landing beaches did a better job of killing enemy aircraft.

Invasions:
Our deliberate attacks were successful at both Kota Bharu and Mersing inflicting over 3100 casualties on enemy troops and capturing both bases. Our troops were repulsed at Kuantan.

Borneo

Dutch sub KXIV struck at our amphibs at Miri, landing 1 torpedo into the xAK Nittatsu Maru.

Enemy Patrol aircraft attacked our amphibs at Miri, landing 1 500lb bomb on the LSD Kasui Maru.
Enemy aircraft attacked our amphibs at Brunei, landing 3 500lb bombs on the xAK Santos Maru, setting her on fire.
Enemy aircraft attacked our amphibs at Brunei, landing 2 300kg bombs on the APD Hagi, setting her on fire.
Enemy aircraft attacked our amphibs at Singkawang, landing 4 50lb bombs on the xAK Gosei Maru, setting her on fire.

Invasions:
Our attacks at our three beach heads were successful inflicting over 1200 casualties on the enemy troops, forcing several of them to surrender. We captured all three bases - Miri, Brunei and Singkawang.

Philippines

TFs attacked:
Our CL led cover force at Iba intercepted fleeing ships from Manila (5 AMs and 2 PGs) and decided to flee from them instead !!! Sounds like someone needs to be ordered to commit seppuku.

Enemy PTs attacked our invasion force at Iba, landing 1 torpdedo on the xAP Hakusan Maru setting her on fire. Our escorts there only managed to sink one enemy PT.

Enemy sub SS Snapper engaged our amphibs at San Fernando, sinking the xAP Hakusan Maru with 4 torpedo strikes while our escorts sat around and did nothing.

Invasions:
Our deliberate attacks along the beaches of Luzon were successful capturing San Fernando, Lingayen and Iba. We inflicted around 10,000 casualties on the enemy forces, as well as burning 14 P-40Es on the field at Iba.

China:
We bombed exposed Chinese troops inflicting more casualties.

Port Strikes:
Hong Kong: We struck the port with a total of Sally, Vals, 7 Lily and 15 Sonia

Allied Ships
xAK Ming Sang, Bomb hits 2, heavy fires, heavy damage

Other

Guam
Our troops attack and capture Guam capturing the allied troops stationed there.

Paratroopers land and capture both Lolobato and Morotai.

So, I think the US Asiatic Fleet starts with 27 SS, you sunk 9, so you got 1/3 of the fleet. And there are a few others that need RSY time ... so not bad, but not as good as you would have liked. Get your ASW cranked up ... early war, SS ops is the main sharp that the allies have to use ....
