Incres8ngly underhanded nerfing of Japanese land based anti ship attacks: G4M Betties, G3M Nells and later types specially against merchants:

LBA that do not take off in good weather, good commanders against solitary or small numbers of merchants, good airbases with abundant supply and air support. Merchants full of troops evavuating Malaysia and Java.

LBA that choose bombs against large merchants TFs instead of torpedoes despite abundance of those, the unit setup for torpedoes and a limited number of aircraft taking off despite the small fatigue of the overall unit.

Check your squadron commanders stats for inspiration and aggression. Unescorted strikes often balk at going into a CAP'd base.

Bug: replenish TF(E+AO) set to resupply a TF 4 hex away and set to remain on station. Resupplies in the turn and operation report says it will remain in place. It appears 10 hex away from resupply hex going to an hex about 10 hex further away and near enemy LBA and PTs. This is one of bugs i have never seen besides 1128.

With agonising slowness, I have been working on updates to more of the full map scenarios, making similar changes and updates to the first few scenarios. I have also added a few extra updates based on feedback here.

I also made some additional corrections to scenarios 1 to 4 - mainly correcting pilots that were misallocated to non-existent air groups.

The files are unofficial (at least at this stage), and I have saved them as scenarios 101 to 107 for scenarios 1 to 7 respectively, so that if you download them they won't overwrite your current scenarios 1-7. I have uploaded them to my own share drive here:

Scenario 101 (updated scenario 1)
Scenario 102 (updated scenario 2)
Scenario 103 (updated scenario 3)
Scenario 104 (updated scenario 4)
Scenario 105 (updated scenario 5)
Scenario 106 (updated scenario 6)
Scenario 107 (updated scenario 7)

I have also uploaded a document listing the major changes made to scenario 1 since the latest beta.

Also note that these updated scenarios are designed for use with the latest version of my "standard" map (which is largely compatible with the original official map). This is because there are several new locations that are not present on the original map.

All of these files, including the required map files (and some others) are accessible via my personal WitP-AE website.

I plan to continue working on the other scenarios (at least the other full map ones), but that will have to wait as I am unavailable for pretty much the rest of this year, and for January 2027.

If you download anything please add notes in this thread as to whether the changes look OK. Note that I am only working on data changes, not code changes.

Thanks

Thank you, do you think some TF map jumping, relatively rare, i am seeing could be to some map incompatibility?

If you are playing against the computer opponent, it can teleport TFs (and maybe other forces) from one friendly base to another without traveling on the surface. This is to compensate for not being able to actually make strategic countermoves to your efforts - i.e. deploying ships to a threatened sector before you try to advance there.

It is PBEM and it is my own TFs. "technically" it is not impossible the movement most of the times i noticed it, but it would imply maximum speed for no reason.
This last one of the replenishment TF should impossible it should not have max movement points of 10 hex, after resupplying.
