Is there any easy way to direct fighters\bombers?

Is there any easy way to direct fighters\bombers?

I've been having a bit of trouble selecting my fighters and bombers to give them orders. I know you can ctrl+left click on them but that takes forever. Could we get the ability to select all visible fighter craft or possibly the ability to target a ship\fleet and then a button to target all the fighters that belong to that ship or fleet?
