Impulse #3 (Allied)

Axis finds (5-2).

I see no reason for Axis to use the points other than to add to damage, so I continue onwards with that.

The British SUB commander lost his nerve, aborts the attack, and goes deep.

I wish. :)

The reality is more mundane. Minor things has been eating up my gaming time, and I've been to exhausted at late evenings to do anything other than go to sleep. :(

Anyway. Soon comes a desperate attack. :)

USSR attacks the Italian HQA in Finland.

USSR uses ENG in the attack.

Assumed that Italy uses defensive HQ support so added that,

USSR uses HQ support from Zhukov in the attack.

Two LND4 provide ground support.

Winterized bonus is used.

Final odds (unless, of course, the defensive HQ-support is withdrawn).

Will Italy select blitz, or assault?

Refresh my memory, if I call Blitz and you you get a breakthrough result will you be able to advance through the target hex? The optional rule which reduces MP along a road in a forest always gets me here.

If it's possible make it assault. Otherwise Blitz.

Yes, that blitz move is ok.

Edit: So assault it is.

No stress, life comes before gaming. Was concerned I hadn't heard anything is all.
