Old palyer...old questions

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Old palyer...old questions

Post by Texeiro »

Hi ! I am around again...with these old questions. If anyone has an answer, I preciate that:

I am trying to understand the AREA mechanics and the "Terror Bombing" points in the current version of *Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich*:

Which cities provide Terror points? Does this depend on the country, geographical boundaries, or the specific scenario?

Do cities in Austria and Italy count toward the score? Does the Italian surrender change anything?

What exactly do the AREA circles define, and how do they relate to the damageable urban blocks?

when you toggle on urban display, only the green area circles provide terror points and count toward the score. The blue (west of Germany) targets do not provide terror points, although they can be damaged.

As the Allies advance up the Italian boot or into Germany, those green circles in the captured areas are liberated (no longer exist), so they no longer provide terror points to the Allies.

The size of the circles just means that urban area is large and you are more likely to damage a urban block during a night raid. Each urban block has it's own damage value, and each block will provide terror points based on that damage. If not still burning at the end of the day, area blocks will very slowly repair.
